I am married to Richard Law, and have one son and two grandsons, Tyler and Mason. I am retired from my career as a research scientist, and also served on Gibraltar City Council as Mayor Pro-Tempore prior to my election to the Michigan House of Representatives.

In the Michigan House of Representatives, I have served on the House Natural Resources Committee where I have worked on water recreation and invasive species legislation. I also serve on the Agriculture and Transportation Committees. I also am a member of the House Steel Caucus, House Boating Caucus, Friends of the Detroit River, Southeast Michigan Wildlife Rehabilitation,and served on the House Democratic Long Term Care Task Force.

My work as State Representative has focused on service to the working families of Downriver and Southwestern Wayne County. I sponsor job creation legislation, co-sponsor initiatives to reduce healthcare costs, and continue to fight out-of-state waste coming in to our community.
